Doc is a lovely Pacific Pride son. Our first cria, he may just also become our first herd sire. He has excellent density on a compact frame with good luster and a well defined lock structure. Importantly, he has a very tight SD on his histogram, and a wonderful handle as a result. He has a full beard and truly typey suri head, and a perfect bite. Doc carries impressive bloodlines on both sides of his pedigree, and he lived up to his potential in the show ring as a juvenile.

Youngest in his class at NAAS, Doc won praise for his density, fineness and luster, as well as his conformation and balance. His excellent uniformity of lock structure was also noted. Doc then returned from MAPACA, the largest alpaca show in the world, with a solid 4th in a class of 8 medium browns. The judge definitely liked his fiber!

Doc started off 2009 with a blue ribbon at NAAS. The judge liked his regrowth, overall uniformity of lock and very typey suri look. He then placed 5th of 6 at MAPACA, where his fiber was again praised.

We hope that Doc will be ready to breed in the spring of 2010. His introductory breeding fee will be $750 for the first ten females. He is unrelated to many of New England’s colored alpacas – check his pedigree carefully. If you like what you see, lock in a bargain.
